Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Pathfinder (“Pathfinder,” “we,” “us”), a platform that provides youth sports organizations with a public website, online registration, and payment collection tools. By creating an organization, signing in, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. What Pathfinder provides
Pathfinder is a software platform. Each organization (“Organization”) that signs up is responsible for its own programs, registrations, sponsorships, and relationships with the families and sponsors it serves. Pathfinder is not a youth sports organization and does not operate, supervise, or take responsibility for any Organization’s programs, events, coaching, or facilities.
3. Accounts and organizations
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or Organization.
- Whoever creates an Organization is responsible for managing its members’ access and for the accuracy of program, pricing, and policy information published on its public site.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
4. Payments and fees
Payments collected through Pathfinder — including program registration fees and sponsorship payments — are processed via Stripe. Pathfinder charges a platform fee on each processed registration to cover payment processing and platform operating costs; the current fee structure is disclosed to Organizations in their dashboard. Platform subscription fees (where applicable) are billed separately through Stripe on a recurring basis.
Organizations are the merchant of record for funds they collect and are responsible for any refunds, disputes, taxes, or other obligations related to the programs and sponsorships they offer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Pathfinder to:
- Collect payments for programs or services you do not intend to deliver.
- Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent content on a public site.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes another party’s rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
6. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how Pathfinder collects, uses, and protects information — including information about program participants submitted by a parent or guardian during registration.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Pathfinder is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pathfinder is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including disputes between an Organization and the families or sponsors it serves.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for violation of these Terms. Organizations may stop using Pathfinder at any time; certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pathfinder after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the platform administrator.
